No WiFi ):

30th December  

  So after all these years I've been to Genting I realise the WiFi connection here isn't really reliable. It's already my second day here and I'm still trying to find my WiFi. I mean, I don't get it, what if some businessmen come to stay over at a hotel not knowing there ain't any WiFi? He can't even do his projects and stuff lol. 

  Okay. Let's put all the frustration aside, it's a new morning and guess what? For the first time in my life, I'm actually having buffet breakfast in the First World Hotel!! The food here's not bad (in my opinion) so I'll absolutely recommend people to come try it out if you haven't.

  (Sorry I'm not a person who eats like a hungry tiger in the morning. I eat really less for breakfast and A LOT at night, reason why my parents are always nagging me all time because of it being unhealthy. I've been having my meals like this for quite awhile already and look, I'm still as healthy and fit!^^)

  As you know I don't have WiFi and obviously I'll post this after a few days later when I'm back home with a god damn connection. Guess blogging is the only way to relieve my boredom (?)... 

  And guess what I got here! When I walked into to the Indoor Theme Park (where all the shops are), almost ALL SHOPS are on sale!! I was like :OOO.

 These Old Skool Tees were on like... 4 for RM50!! Which is around S$5 each! Tell me who wouldn't buy these?? (Sorry my shirts are camouflaging xD)

  And also this red jersey-like shirt for RM25, totally worth it cause it reminds me of someone very special ☺️ (By the way, it's in L size cause it was the only piece left, I thought I could still wear it differently :/)

  So, Cotton On have this small sale in-store and I decided to buy a beanie (?) cause it was rather cheap and I've never had one... (I mean like RM15?! TDF!!)

  

  So yeah, that was my first night here and dad was suggesting earlier that we'd be going to the temple later. Not really looking forward to it but left lots of childhood memory there years ago when my cousins and I were younger. So thought I'd give it a visit after such a long time! Hahah!

  Then, we went to experience some old rides again ><

  So It's finally the end of the day, sighs, going back home tomorrow morning!! Then flight back to Singapore at night. It's been a really wonderful visit back to hometown! Planning to come back to Genting in 2016 and hopefully all the outdoor facilities will be done. I really miss all the rides outside though, sadly it's on renovation and would probably last quite a few years...

  

  I guess it's gonna be a really tiring day tomorrow; packing, traveling and all the shit. Hahah!! Can't wait for school to start next week! Meeting the new Secondary 1s next year would be really exciting especially for us who aren't really used to welcoming new "family members" into school. Woots. 2013 had been a really fast and awesome year for me! All the way from meeting new friends and teachers, getting used to an absolutely different environment, getting to know all the wonderful seniors in school who have taught us and played with us this whole time, to meeting my boyfriend :P so, I hope it has been a really good year for all you guys out there reading this post!

RETREAT CAMP!! (2)

  Good evening guys! Hahah! Took a day's rest before I finally got the energy and vitality to write a blog post about my camp. Didn't have enough sleep during camp, expected. So yeah...

  In my opinion, I think it was rather enjoyable? The organizing committee seriously put lots of effort into preparing the activities for us this time so, highly appreciated! (:

  We actually went for rafting and rock climbing at the Changi Beach campsite (I'm not very sure of the location's name :/), got super wet and sweaty building rafts and encouraging our friends when they are unsure of which step to take towards success. Besides that, we also had a 2-hour walk all the way from there back to school, really the most tiring activity ever. I think I lost like a few kilos right there lol. Not only can we lose weight, but we also get to eat our dinner beside East Coast Beach! The sunset is just wonderful... So I guess it was really worth it.

  Furthermore, we also had the first camp fire ever in Retreat Camp! A pity it started pouring and everything was ruined... However, that didn't stop the campfire from going on! We were then moved to the hall for shelter for more campfire performances and also a BABY FOOD CHALLENGE!! I was one of the volunteers and damn, it was so sweet! How the hell do babies eat them? UGH.

  As usual, we had (not-very) nutritional meals, sentry duties at midnight and also tough times during camp. Impossible for us to not bond right? Hahah! I can't wait for another council camp!

  Guess what? I've been promoted to a Junior Councillor!! I will do my best to be a role model for my friends and also the rest of the student body!!

YAY!!

  It was really a fun camp for us, to learn and to bond with our friends. We believer this is also the beginning of us, the future of the School Council. We won't let our seniors, teachers and the school down in anyway. We're going to Secondary 2 next year already and in just a few months time, it will be time for us to take care of our juniors and organize camps for them to bond, feel the torture, get out of their comfort zone, and enjoy~ 

RETREAT CAMP!!

  It's finally camp tomorrow!! And I've been packing a lot lately because of it, It's RETREAT CAMP!! YAY!! I love camps, they are like so fun and exciting, they make me feel like I'm already a grown up, doing things without my parents' presence. Hahah!!

  Well, the only thing I'm worried about is that I'll forget to bring things despite having a packing list given to us. I'm just that forgetful. 

  The many reasons why I love camps, especially those organized by my School's council, is that:

1) we all get to rush to the toilet to shower because it's always running out of cubicles.

2) disgusting food; all of us had to eat them because they are like our only food source... (And they provide us 3 meals a day!😃)

3) NIGHT WALKS!! Oh, I'm such a creep. 

4) telling our bunk mates ghost stories or playing truth or dare with them when it's time to sleep xD

5) sentry duties?? Hahah! They absolutely make me feel like an army. (Although I always end up slacking off or sleeping.)

6) scalding hot milo early in the morning! Well, only for council camps though.

7) wearing home clothes at school.

8) no one to tell you not to do anything. (Because no parents lol.)

9) and most importantly, I get to bond with my team mates, friends, and school mates well^^

  So now, I'm like writing this when I'm still in bed with the lights off. The things I need to do today would probably be just to stuff all my clothings into my amazingly huge bag and double check whether I've brought sufficient stuff to camp. That's really irritating actually but hey, it helps with forgetful people like me... I'm actually really really really nervous about tomorrow cause I don't even know how I'll carry my things. I have a huge bag, a day pack, and a uniform cover to bring!! Oh my. I don't think my CCA (UG) camp needs us to bring SOOO much stuff... But it's a 3D2N camp, so I guess it's kinda reasonable :/

  FINALLY PACKED EVERYTHING!! Damn. My bag is so full!! Hahah! I can't wait for tomorrow though.

  Been a very tiring day for me! Packed most of everything at the last minute, went to the shops just to buy things that I need and rushed back home under the amazingly big rain!! A total nightmare! Oh my god, only coming back with all the dirt on my legs!! 

  However, I really love the feeling of packing and kind of enjoyed today. Hopefully the camp goes smoothly and I'll enjoy it for the next few days! Today's been a rather tiring day and all I need now is my beauty sleep!! Hahah! *yawns*

  WOOTS. Just gotten ready!! Hahah!! Double checked everything and did myself mah old back-to-school make over! 😂 damn, been quite awhile since the last time I had my fringe clipped up so unglamorously...

 Sighs, I seriously hate the fact that I always have single lids in the early morning? Pardon my morning face :/

  And my socks never went so high unless it's Council!! I'm so obedient^^
